I am wondering for next year how the roommate process goes. When do you find out if your roommate request was granted? I will be requesting a roommate (my friend and I traveling together from Canada), and if we can not stay together, then we will have to cancel our stay (our parents won't let us go unless we are staying together). Will we know if our roommate request was granted in time to cancel the housing reservation without late fees?

Applications are processed within 4 - 6 weeks. Once you have been assigned you will receive written confirmation telling you the building and type of room that you have been assigned too. If your roommate request is in the same building and type of room we will most likely be able to place you together.

As long as you cancel your reservation 28 days prior to your check-in date, you will receive a refund of your deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee.
