I'm going to be a transition resident, and I know the official fall move-in date is on August 30th. But is there ANY possible way to move in (and know about moving in) one or two weeks before that after summer housing ends? I need to book a flight home around the end of the month for an event and need to know whether I can attend.

There is no way to know when your fall housing room will be ready, and do reserve the right to give you as little as 24-hours notice when your fall space becomes available. In exchange for free housing between the end of the summer term and the beginning of the fall term, we ask that transition residents remain in the city so that when their fall housing space becomes available, they can move immediately.
